I saw in the original article that they noted no associated fatalities despite the moniker of “DEATH WOBBLE”... I agree, I doubt FCA is going to jump on the chance to pay a settlement for something at this stage. The funny thing is, unless something is wrong with your front end real DW is not likely.
But with a solid front axle vehicle using a track bar and drag link DW is always possible if there is any play in either system. The premise can easily be disproved by the number of ancient (by the car world standard) Jeeps with stable suspension.
If they at least attempted to identify a supplier part failure over that production run (TB, ballpoints, Tree, etc.) At least on the JLS they identified potentially faulty welds on the frame side track bar mount...

Those original people get some small cut, everyone else affected gets pennies, the lawyers get millions. Source: Have worked in the legal industry for 27 years.
Trying to peddle them to housewives started this downward spiral yrs ago, damn shame. If you don't like the solid axle then buy another vehicle. Sent from my OnePlus A6013 using Tapatalk.

They sleeved down the fuel inlet in '03 and that combined with the addition of ethanol caused the check valve in the tank to swell and not not seal properly.
Eventually the valve would fail and if you filled the tank and did not stop it in time, about a pint of gas would spit back. The law firm that was representing the plaintiffs paid for a new gas tank for my TJ to use as an example.
The adhesive on them is strong and hold well even under stress. I like using these on certain projects, and I agree with the previous reviewer and wish they came in a smaller size.
