When comparing the weapons, the Hauer77 comes out on top for base firepower but the Gallo SA12 has a significantly faster rate of fire. The Hauer77 is the spotty players unlock first at level 7 and is the weapon we’ll be covering today.
Lethal: Frag Grenade Tactical: Stimson Field Upgrade: Trophy System This loadout strictly focuses on dominating opponents at close range with the shotgun.
The Task Force Barrel increases the Hauer’s damage output at close quarters by 45%. In terms of choosing a primary weapon, the M16 provides this loadout with a medium to long-range option for players.
On top of this, the Bauer struggles with its ammo usage so running Scavenger eliminates this issue. The addition of Flak Jacket and Tactical Mask makes this combination heavily resistant to enemy equipment and capable of clearing areas quickly.
Finally, the equipment choices are fairly standard but running Stimson in the tactical slot is a must. After rushing into a room and taking multiple close-quarter gunfights, the Stimson is ideal in preparing for your next encounter with an enemy.
By Brad Norton Activision An extremely patient Call of Duty player has just reached first prestige in Black Ops Cold War, without ever dealing damage to their opponents. While a majority of players stick to fundamentals and play the game as intended, there’s always some that veer from the path.
As gamers are sinking their teeth into Black Ops Cold War, many have reached new heights with the innovative prestige system. Reddit: Pilgore1This player reached first prestige in Black Ops Cold War without a single kill to their name.
It took a full 37 hours of game time for Reddit user ‘ Pilgore1 to accomplish their goal. Playing the objective and “clearing the sky,” were the key factors that gained this player XP over time.
When the skies were clear of enemy streaks, and it came time to focus on the objective, however, they simply “ body on there.” The sixth installment of Trey arch's Zombies mode was released in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
In Black Ops 3, Snipers were finally a viable weapon in Zombies after being among the worst in the previous entries. However, with Black Ops Cold War, the Sniper Rifles have regressed back to how terrible they used to be.
With the loss of Double Tap 2.0, Sniper Rifles lose what made them viable to begin with. The Pump Action Shotgun does a ton of damage, and when upgraded tears through the zombie horde.
As an added bonus, the Hauer77 is a wall weapon, meaning you can save some Salvage since you won't have to upgrade it to a Green Tier. Even on the first round of the game, it's rare for zombies to be killed with it in one hit.
You don't have to drop in and upgrade it, as it's available early on in the game as a wall weapon that's already a blue rarity. Fully upgraded, the Gallo SA12 can even easily deal with max health Megatons without the need for Ring Of Fire.
It's one of the few guns in the game that can kill a zombie in one-shot even when they're at maximum health. If you're not shooting the head, the Magnum is going to do practically no damage, to the point it feels like you're just meeting zombies.
This isn't a huge problem in early rounds, however, as zombies speed increases this becomes a near-impossible task. Taking time to aim for the head isn't something you can do when zombies are moving too quickly, and the Magnum will start to fail you.
The DSP 45 is one of the worst guns in the game, having the dishonor of being bad in both Multiplayer and Zombies (something very rare in Black Ops Cold War). It does poor damage, even after upgrades, and is too slow to reliably kill zombies.
Perhaps if Double Tap ever gets added it may get improved, but where it stands now it's one of the worst options. The Ray Gun deals out tons of damage, and generally can be constantly refreshed with ammo every round.
Sniper Rifles are the worst kind of weapon in Cold War Zombies. Due to its higher rate of fire, it has a lower damage output.
With the low bullet penetration Sniper Rifles have, this makes it even worse than the other ones. Having worked many odd jobs, including article writing, he is now a list writer for TheGamer.com.
The shotgun resembles the W1200 from the very first Modern Warfare game, and like its predecessor, it is dominant in close-quarters engagements. The laser drastically increases hip-fire accuracy, perfect for those situations where running and gunning is the play.
By keeping the skies clear, it will allow you to continue your shotgun spree and focus on the action in front of you, rather than having to duck and dive out the way of an incoming chopper. Tactical Mask increases your resistance to flash and stun grenades alongside immunity to gas while Tracker enables you to see imprints of enemy footsteps on the ground, giving you the ability to sneak up behind them and take them out with a swift one-shot kill.
This perk will keep you hidden from any enemy Spy Planes when moving around the map, which is perfect for this style of play. Perhaps the most underrated Wildcard in the game, Danger Close allows you to spawn in with two pieces of lethal and tactical equipment, bolstering your loadout with an extra piece of C4 and an additional smoke grenade.
