Cancun Hotelling is also known as ‘Zone Hotel era’ or ‘Tourist Zone ’. It is a narrow 22.5 KMS (14 Miles) long island where tourists spend most of their time during their Cancun holiday.

Contents

Hotels, resorts and villas line the beaches of the Hotelling in Cancun thus providing unlimited access to white sand and turquoise water beaches to all staying in this zone. While on the outside of this long stretch are the hotels and the beaches, on the inside is Laguna Niche, a vast lagoon.

Facing this massive water body are numerous attractions, water sports venues, waterfront restaurants, a few Golf courses, shopping malls etc. Ruins of El Rey located on Kukulacán Blvd at Km 17 (near Mile 10.5) is a quick getaway.

Within the Cancun region, it usually takes one minute by road to travel 1 Km (0.62 Miles). The area marked by the red circle is called the Cancun Hotelling.

Now, let us understand Cancun Hotelling layout in a little more detail by zooming in. Seasoned tourists and budget travelers opt for hotels in Downtown Cancun.

While the Hotelling has beautiful beaches close by, massive nightclubs, fine dining restaurants etc the Downtown area provides a holiday that’s closer to Cancun and Mexicans. The only disadvantage of Downtown Cancun is the distance you must travel to reach the numerous attractions, beaches, nightclubs etc.

Señores Frogs is a popular nightclub in Cancun Hotelling. For instance, it is wiser to not flaunt a lot of wealth and to not be walking home alone at night.

The Mexican police also report a high number of rapes in Cancun’s resort area, mostly at night and in the early morning. Jam shed V Trajan He is a two-faced traveler, who enjoys both the hustle-bustle of an urban holiday and the serenity of a break from the rest of the World.

M1 districts range from the Garment District in Manhattan and Port Morris in the Bronx with multistory lofts, to parts of Red Hook or College Point with one- or two-story warehouses characterized by loading bays. Nearly all industrial uses are allowed in M1 districts if they meet the stringent M1 performance standards.

In M1-5A and M1-5B districts mapped in Soho/Soho, artists may occupy joint living-work quarters as an industrial use. Floor area ratios in M1 districts range from 1.0 to 10.0, depending on location; building height and setbacks are controlled by a sky exposure plane which may be penetrated by a tower in certain districts.

In the highest density manufacturing district, M1-6, mapped only in Manhattan, an Far from 12 can be achieved with a bonus for a public plaza. M1-1, M1-2 and M1-3 districts are subject to parking requirements based on the type of use and size of an establishment.

For example, a warehouse in an M1-1 district requires one off-street parking space per 2,000 square feet of floor area or per every three employees, whichever would be less. Parking is not required in Long Island City or M1-4, M1-5 and M1-6 districts, mapped mainly in Manhattan.

Exit at Kamphangpetch station to section 24 where all the latest fashion stalls are situated. In the past, we usually take the BTS train from Whilom to Mo chit station then brave through the crowds and sun to transfer to another train using the MRT line to Kamphangpetch station.

Love the microwave where we can heat up the Best Hot Chocolate that we bought from the Gourmet Supermarket at Terminal 21 Shopping mall. I hope they'll address this problem soon as we're spending more time in the shower and wasting precious water.

The Continent Bangkok by Compass Hospitality is tucked away and easily missed from the street. On the North side of Sukhumvit Road just about midway between Ask Months Rd and Sukhumvit SOI 23 is a small driveway entrance that I mistook for an alley many times strolling by on the sidewalk when I first stayed in the area.

Luckily, a great price offering on Agoda brought my attention to this 5-star gem back then, and I have stayed here several times since. Each floor is small with only a handful of rooms on each which means there are no long hallways.

If you have a chance to get the Sky Room upgrade give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed. Most rooms I've stayed in had closet door that doubles as bathroom door which is a bit inconvenient as you can 't get to closet with bathroom open and vice versa.

The upper floor pool, dinning room, and club are very nice so don't forget to check them out while your there. We have stayed at many hotels in Sukhumvit and father suites is easily up there with location, staff and room setup.

It is difficult to pinpoint any fault to this magnificent hotel : the facilities are outstanding, the F&B is world-class, the staff is courteous to the utmost. We felt pampered even not being the obvious guest for such a luxury hotel, the staff treated us with the utmost respect.

We choose 137 pillars residence for our last night stay in Bangkok before flying back home, and we were so happy with our choice. We stayed in a one bedroom residence, first we wanted to book a suite, but the residence was totally fine, much better than we expected, we were on 21st floor and there was a small balcony with stunning view over Bangkok.

It was very beautiful decorated, the size of residence is bigger than many other hotel rooms we had been with the same price (or higher) and what we really love are their bathroom amenities from papyri and hand!! As a business traveler going back and forth to Bangkok all the time, I have been staying in various hotels in Sukhumvit and especially after staying many times at grand president, I have come to the conclusion that this place is ticking all the boxes that is needed for leisure and business.

Little downside only dining room staff (Fast time) hardly seeing smiles from them, even in the morning, where the day has just begun... The rooftop restaurant/bar Leap Frog is great place to chill.

The 1 bedroom is so good, so big, they provide kitchen set with big refrigerator, living room area, rolling door to separate the living room and the bedroom. Seems like Prize Sukhumvit is popular among Japan tourists, so there's lots of Japanese restaurants nearby.

Save for the very far location from the city center, the hotel is a good deal for its elegance, large room and bath, sports center and gym, pools and attractive breakfast buffet. The staff, of Thai and Filipino nationalities, are very welcoming and do their best to make one's stay enjoyable. PRA Along train station is about 500 meters walk, but one must navigate a slightly perilous intersection to get there in one piece.

For those arriving for the first time, a cab through Sukhumvit will set you back by several bahts and minutes as the traffic can be unreasonable at almost all hours. All even numbered soil (streets) are on one side while the odd-numbered roads are on the opposite.

The staff were also kind enough to let me print a document for free on the guest computers. In the suite, both bedroom and living room were equipped with a flat screen LCD TV.

The gym was great, with brand-new weights and sleek cardio equipment, as well as towels for guests. The breakfast buffet is ample and good, with a nice mix of western and Asian foods.

The single drawback to this hotel is that it is a little of trek into the central part of town. Vg is on Sukhumvit 60 and most of the shopping malls/food markets/nightlife is centered between SOI 1-10. Even honor district, which is a bustling street with good restaurants and nightlife is several BTS stops away.

Staffs at breakfast restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful, yet food was just so-so. We were upgraded to a bigger room immediately upon arrival, so my opinion could be biased, but I think this hotel was great.

The front desk staff and bellhop were extremely polite and helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room immediately upon arrival, so my opinion could be biased, but I think this hotel was great.

The front desk staff and bellhop were extremely polite and helpful. The location of this hotel is what got us hooked EXCEPT if you want to catch the BTS subway system frequently.

The bathroom was clean and modern, with a big bath tub and a separate shower. I had previously stayed at nearby properties, but was recommended by a friend to try the Jasmine City.

It was also perfect for me since I booked a physical at bumrungrad international hospital, about 2 blocks away. A lot of Bangkok hotels have tubbed/showers with tiny instantaneous water heaters.

The royal Beja breakfast was fine, included the usual odd assortment of eggs, pancakes, and tossed green salad, just not expansive like some others. This hotel has an outdoor swimming pool; where you can enjoy the sun while swimming, sunbathing, indoor gym (with free water bottles available just next to the door to the gym), cafeteria with variety spread of breakfast buffet served daily, daily room-keeping service without fail & we return to our room every day to find new towels with toiletries and the room all we...

I will definitely go back to S31 Sukhumvit Hotel with my partner the next time when we visit BKK! I am a returning customer, since the location is fantastic and probably one of the best value for money hotels in Sukhumvit.

Restaurants are close, also 24h diner options and BKK entertainment areas. The hotel staff is very professional, including the reception, cleaning women and security guards.

Location is fantastic, within 3mins walking distance to the BTS (on not station). Reading reviews prior to securing a reservation, I try to weed out the traveler who is just happy whining about anything or the first time trailers who have over expectations from reading too many travel magazines.

It is best to situate yourself close to the sky train and the MRT(subway)as this is the fastest mode of transportation.

If a wild nightlife is your cup of tea, you are a couple minute walk from the famous SOI cowboy.something you really gotta see to believe! Do not judge an expensive hotel as top service and friendly as this is not true in many instances I have experienced.

They are very discreet also when you bring your “girlfriend”up for a visit.though if it is a one night fling, they will require her to leave her id with the front desk (this also protects you) rooms are clean and spacious. May sound unimportant but a/c and water pressure can make your stay either pleasurable or miserable.

I highly suggest this hotel for the price and what you get. If you include breakfast in your package, the restaurant food is standard.not great but good. I think this is a great hotel for the solo traveler who wants to experience the wild side of Bangkok.

Nevertheless, I highly recommend this hotel for couples and travelers who would like to stay in Bangkok. Motorbike taxis were readily available, and I just paid 15 baht for each ride which was quite cheap.

Bookshelf with plenty of books about Thailand The area: Okay you are in the heart of Sukhumvit (red-light district) there are plenty of normal bars, naughty bars if that's your than, street food vendors, bars with food, massage parlors (professional & not-so professional) you can easily choose which, as the not-so will have lady boys outside trying to look sexy (not pulling it off very well) and grabbing your hand mister and saying 'massage' whilst holding you firmly...they are quite strong haha! Location: Down a dead end alley (SOI: side street) a few minutes walk from Nana BTS, (also close to Awoke to transfer to airport) and Phloem Chit, even though you are in a lively area the Hostel is quiet as it's tucked away from the loud bars, but is still a safe area, plenty of people always around.

You are a few stops from Siam where the upscale shopping malls are, also MK Center is there which has electronics and market stalls throughout and a food terrace. Take the BTS Sky train Sukhumvit line (light green) from Nana (one stop to Awoke) heading towards Bearing station change for the MRT line (light blue) you'll have to walk to Sukhumvit station, but it's literally on top of one another.

I just love staying at Leisure Sukhumvit and I always managed to snag a bed there when I'm visiting the city on my own for a few days. It's got the feel of staying in a nice capsule hotel instead of the usual backpackers' dorm room.

Very quiet (from the many times I've stayed here, all the guests I've encountered are seemingly not the rowdy, hard partying crowd, and the noise level is always very low). Has a spacious locker under the bed, table, a cozy common area, everything one could need.

The location is undoubtedly the second best part, since it's super close to BTS Prom Pong, Quarter, the park, lots of good food either from one of the nearby street stalls or the food courts at the nearby malls. Everything is within walking distance, and it's a quick train trip Siam / city center.

The only slight downside is the location, but it’s actually not far at all from the tourist center in the city, and it’s a 1-2 minute walk from the BTS station. The hostel is very large with lots of space and there were only like 3 guests the whole 4 days I stayed there.

I honestly don’t know how they stay in business because it’s such a new and big place and there were only like 4 guests the whole time I was there. That said I highly recommend it because they’re very friendly, and it’s a great place to stay, I really hope their business increases.

It is right on Sukhumvit, so if you can 't sleep when you hear urban traffic a night, you'd better look for something else. Nice location if you're looking to stay in the Sukhumvit area, close to the BTS, lots of street vendors.

Staff member Cherry was incredibly helpful and kind to us, especially when we had to catch a cab to the airport late at night and in the pouring rain. Cherry went above and beyond, staying late to make sure that we got our ok. My only complaint is that the bathroom in the private room was open to the street, allowing in bugs unless we were careful.

It's also a bit awkward that you can see into the bathroom from the bedroom, as there is no curtain or other barrier around the shower or toilet! The room might be a tad smaller than the ones I am used to but the excellent service and facilities more than make...

There is also a small but nice gym, and the outdoor pool has a good size, and it's suitable for kids as well.

Go straight from there, you'll see little Korea town on your right (inside Sukhumvit Plaza); they have free shuttle to the hotel I am a returning customer, since the location is fantastic and probably one of the best value for money hotels in Sukhumvit.

Restaurants are close, also 24h diner options and BKK entertainment areas. The hotel staff is very professional, including the reception, cleaning women and security guards.

The hotel staff is very professional, including the reception, cleaning women and security guards. The hotel is clean, has fortunately no carpet flooring and is mainly occupied by Japanese clients.

We would like to suggest to the management to install shower curtains for the bath to prevent... Checked in at X2 Vibe Sukhumvit for 4 nights, and it has been a pleasant stay the entire trip.

Great pool, western restaurant, cocktails, massage spa at 200 baht per hour, right next door. I could throw a rock at the BTS metro train station, it’s that close.

The staff bent over backwards to get us in a room early (9:30 AM) as we were running away from a nightmare hotel that we stayed at the night before. It is a nice hotel located just opposite to Ploenchit BTS station (Sky Train) .

Located in the heart of Sukhumvit street in Bangkok where you can visit all main malls and shopping areas. Full disclosure: We booked in low season at a rate of ~$62 and got a Corner Suite on the 6th floor.

After traveling around SE Asia for a few weeks this hotel stood out in our Agoda search solely because of how many people claimed the beds were great. Full disclosure: We booked in low season at a rate of ~$62 and got a Corner Suite on the 6th floor.

-Captain's Pub and Restaurant downstairs makes some surprisingly good food. -Lots of windows in the room, great views of the city in multiple directions.

I heard my neighbor blabbering on in Armenian and clearing his throat/sinuses at all times of the day and night. So I didn't feel so bad when I cheered in the middle of the night watching my favorite soccer team play a midnight game.

The staff and manager were all smiles, extremely helpful, and attentive to me and my friend's needs. It was a fun-filled holiday and Best Western Plus @ SOI Yeltsin (20) added to giving me a great time in Bangkok.

Best Western Plus' rooms are excellent and the interior has a very nice new age feel. Located at down SOI 20, Best Western Plus also has small Thai food street stalls and a German restaurant nearby.

A drinking bar, a sundry store, and a 7-11 is also nearby, and it is easy to get cabs to go to other places. Taking meter taxi from the FuramaXclusive Asoke-Sukhumvit Hotel to the Bangkok International Airport cost us about 2 hundred BHT.

The staff at Bless were extremely helpful to me and my husband, assisting us with little problems and questions with generous smiles and useful information. Housekeeping was fantastic, and willing to clean your place anytime before 5pm (which was great since we got sick and needed to sleep in late).

We opted out of breakfast because there was a lovely kitchenette, buying ourselves cooking ingredients at the fantastic gourmet market in the posh nearby mall. If you ask the staff in advance, they will put pans, a knife, spatula, cutting board and other cooking supplies in your kitchen, which is already equipped with plates/bowls/classes/place mats/cutlery.

The only tiny nitpick was the small gym with no significant weights for my poor fitness-obsessed husband. It in the amazing SOI 11, and it is buzzing with restaurants and bars and pharmacies and 3 7/11 shops, close to Terminal 21 and Nana BTS Station.

Terminal 21, Robinson, 24 hours Tops Supermarket, food court. Hotel is located on a quite street (SOI 5) 3 minutes from the sky train on the busy Sukhumvit Road.

A nice 4-star hotel, room was bug clean and comfy. It took me few minutes to figure that the room's electricity is controlled from on a mater box next to the bed, reminded me the final project in electricity class in high school back in the 80s.

Loved the stay in Delphi, the room was spacious and had lots of amenities that aren't usually included in a hotel, e.g. Iron and Washer, microwave and electric stove. The service was always great, down to the man who opens doors an organizes taxi's for you.

Of course room service food is always mediocre, you can 't really expect fantastic food at a hotel, but the buffet downstairs had a good range of fresh fruits and the best croissants, as well as your every day sausage hams eggs etc. Location wise was good as it is in Sukhumvit and walking distance to Emporium, however the view from the balcony wasn't pleasant as there was an empty lot directly in front which being in Bangkok is always filled with rubbish when not occupied by a house/ hotel.

No problem with the Wi-Fi and the pool is small but unless you need to do Olympic sprints, it's fine. Located down a small SOI (16) about 300 meters from Sukhumvit road is a lovely little hotel where everything comes together.

Rooms are clean, bathrooms have a bathtub but doe snot have a proper shower area which most of Indian's might not be comfortable with. You can oversee giant wheel from the pool area which makes it look more attractive.

With indoor pathways connected to Emporium shopping mall, you don't need to worry where to dine if it's raining outside. I believe this is owned or managed by Japanese, as the hotel and room is very clean according ...

Once again thank you, Grande Center Point Sukhumvit 55, appreciated all the things you help us We've been visiting Bangkok very frequently and always stayed in a 5-star hotel in Whilom.

Just found out about Grand Center Point Sukhumvit through my friend on facebook. We can take the MRT train from Sukhumvit station directly to Chitchat market.

We've been visiting Bangkok very frequently and always stayed in a 5-star hotel in Whilom. Just found out about Grand Center Point Sukhumvit through my friend on facebook.

We can take the MRT train from Sukhumvit station directly to Chitchat market.

Location is just next to the Marriott Hotel and a 3-min walk to the BTS Station.

Walking distance to Sukhumvit 55 where you can find plenty on spas, restaurants, cafés and some wonderful local food. The hotel itself is not huge, but intimate, very nice decor and rooms, pool and gym on the roof.

Breakfast buffet had a limited choice of food, but always fresh and enough variety to keep me happy, the waffles and coffee is excellent and must try!

Enjoyed our stay, booked 2 superior rooms, ask for same floor, 1 room king-size bed, another twin bed for my kids Front desk staff name Ann (night shift) are super nice, she gave the rooms that we requested on booking promptly, room itself has all the amenities such as fridge, safe box, good zircon, free 4botles of water daily, change the bed linen and towels daily too.list...

Location is about 10 mins walks to BTS ask/Sukhumvit MRT, on the way to BTS ask is terminal 21 malls, from ask you can go to every part of touristy destination in Bangkok To catch rail link station just 1 stop away from BTS ask, off at petchaburi then transfer to rail link to suvarnabhumi airport Many massages shop around hotel, easy to get food, next door is 24h convenience store, pool is on 7 floor Check in n out was smooth, also concierge staff name Nut was very helpful, polite and tell us where is the best way to get to our destination Recommended hotel, we'll be staying in well hotel while we are in Bangkok again. Little downside only dining room staff (Fast time) hardly seeing smiles from them, even in the morning, where the day has just begun...

Staffs at breakfast restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful, yet food was just so-so. Stayed over at S31 Sukhumvit Hotel for the first time and the experience was purely awesome! Location wise, its really convenient as it's about a 10 – 15 mins walk to Ask BTS which is in front of Terminal 21.

I will definitely go back to S31 Sukhumvit Hotel with my partner the next time when we visit BKK! The location had very easy access to the BTS station, only a 10-minute walk.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, with a classic feel about it and the rooms are stuffed with all the amenities you could expect, including a TV Audio Bar that you could connect with your phone and play music while relaxing in the bath tub. Rooms are very clean & well maintain, a definite must in hotels that I stay.

Location wise is good as it's just a few minutes walk away from Sukhumvit MRT, BTS Awoke & Terminal 21 shopping center. Even though I'd heard that Bangkok was one of the best cities in the world for luxury hotels, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Grand Millennium.

Even though I'd heard that Bangkok was one of the best cities in the world for luxury hotels, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Grand Millennium. Not only was the service crisp and unobtrusive, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I had a comfortable trip.

They even allowed me to leave my large Duffel bag in their luggage room for over two weeks while I was off trekking in Northern Thailand and wouldn't accept a tip for their troubles. The huge room was lushly appointed and subdued and the views of Sukhumvit were sublime.

I did enjoy the facilities that were offered with the Spa, in particular the outdoor swimming pool, but, my only complaint is that their gym was too small and didn't have all the machines that I would have liked (especially considering how much I ate at the enormous breakfast buffet that was included in the price). The location is right on Sukhumvit road which makes it nice and easy to get to the BTS.

The staff was extremely professional and Charlie and the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. The location is right on Sukhumvit road which makes it nice and easy to get to the BTS.

They only give one tiny bar of soap that could be used for either washing your hands or for the shower. The club floor was nice with a great selection for breakfast, afternoon tea and complimentary evening cocktails from 5-7pm.

I was surprised how few people were taking advantage of the evening cocktails... I felt like I had the place to myself which was great. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on Sukhumvit road in Bangkok.

Especially Arise, Bow and Bee have always found solutions for small wishes or special features. Our gold standard hotel is The Sukhothai, but we prefer Sukhumvit location near the BTS / MRT.

We also like the Sheraton Grand as the pool is lovely, buffet wonderful and location excellent. The Maverick is stylish & is our new favorite pool plus location is wonderful, so we'd go back.

The 4 x lifts are occasionally busy by covering all the floors and create a bit of waiting time either up or down. Be prepared when dining or drinking at the hotel to pay top prices which are well above the usual costs in restaurants in town.

I was surprised that the lovely rooms are quite sensitive to noise from the outside corridors i.e. conversations, door slamming, etc. The details might be nit-picking but a high standard is expected from hotel of this caliber.

Rooms are generous, and a very good deal at current prices. Sukhumvit is Bangkok’s all-star shopping district, serviced by a spread of transport hubs, restaurants and entertainment complexes.

Slick and modern, this district takes its name from Sukhumvit Road, essentially the backbone of Bangkok. Business travelers gravitate to five-star hotels around Queen SiriKit National Convention Center; tourists peruse back-alley bazaars and street cafés; while shoppers can pass entire days in the air-conditioned comfort of Sukhumvit’s huge shopping malls.

Most of the hotels in Sukhumvit are to the west around Robinson shopping center and several Sky train (BTS) and subway (MRT) stations. All of this is due north of a major bend in the Chao Phrase River, where express shuttles ply from one pier to the next.

Sukhumvit is a great place to be based because local transport lines head out to every major district in Bangkok. Sukhumvit itself branches off into countless side streets (soil), some of which can be explored on foot.

There’s an art to exploring Bangkok, and first-time visitors are easily overwhelmed by the scope and sprawl of this city. Booking hotels in Sukhumvit puts tourists in a prime position to enjoy Bangkok’s cosmopolitan side, without giving up access to historic attractions.
